I would be interested in learning much more about how to use technology in the classroom in order for it to be a helping tool versus a distraction. Phones, iPods, computers, Kindles, and other devices can become major disturbances. Learning how to teach with these tools without letting students get sidetracked will be quite a task.
We need to make sure that technology does not overwhelm our students. I would love to learn how to implement technology in a fun and reasonable amount.
I would like to know how technology can be used in the classroom to cut down on the amount of paper used.
The only additional thing I want to know about technology is how to use it wisely, and how to adapt if you have a school that is limited in its technology resources.
(I would like to know) how to monitor (technology) use in the classroom and make sure students are on task.
I would like to know more about how students can use technology in the classroom. I feel like students can only make so many PowerPoint presentations to present their work, and I want to know other resources that they can use.
I need to become more versed in Apple Products. I don’t use Apple Products, not even an iPod, but I understand that I’m going to need to be able to use them.
I know that I want to incorporate technology in my classroom – I think web 2.0 tools will be really engaging and useful – I just don’t know when is the right time to use them.
I think it would be beneficial to learn more about other web 2.0 tools and how to use these more efficiently. I want technology to enhance learning in my classroom and not hinder it.
I would like to learn how I can use technology to help me organize lesson plans, ideas, and even my students’ work and grades. Sure there is always the hard copy way, but I think that having things on a digital platform would be great. Also, I would like to learn what I can do for students who may not have a computer or the internet readily available to them at home. How can I include them in the technology aspect?
I would like to know more about how to effectively use social media sites, such as Twitter, in the classroom. I also want to learn more about wikis! I’ve never used one before, so creating an account for this class was new for me!
I would still like to learn about more types of technology that I can use in my classroom. I know there are smart boards and things like that, but I want to learn more about them so that I can be proficient and ready to help my students with it.
I have realized that I need to know how to use Twitter. Like Facebook, it is a popular resource, and I am unsure of how to use it in a classroom context.
